Mother's Day with my family

Meet my family. My beautiful mother and two sisters. I got to go back home to New Orleans for 10 days earlier this month. 10 days packed with so much fun, laughter, activities and food!! I just wanted to share some of the pictures I took on Mothers day. Perfect day!

I have no idea. But I love it.

One of the street performers in the French Quarter. He was so hilarious!

My gorgeous mother!

One of the only pictures I have with me in it, since Bryan wasn't able to come with me this trip. I do, however, have plenty of pictures of me being completely out of focus.

I love this sweet picture of my family.

My mom put in my sisters hair extensions. What's better than a mullet? A curly on top, straight at the bottom mullet!!!

I got this cute headband at the French Quarter. Here Katie is being my model.

For Mother's Day, we took my mom to brunch at Muriel's in the French Quarter. What and experience!! The food was completely out of this world. If you get the chance, you definitely need to go.

MIMOSAS!!

Crawfish and Goatcheese Crepes

BBQ Oysters

Already halfway eaten Crawfish Cakes Benedict

Creme Brulee

Bread Pudding with Candied Pecans
Side note: Please continue to keep Louisiana and the entire gulf coast in your prayers. The wildlife, fisherman and seafood industry is in major crisis. Completely breaks my heart. Thank you for the prayers!!

Brett & Bobbi Jo Wedding: PART TWO

Because it was so rainy and dark on their actual wedding day, Brett and Bobbi Jo wanted to do another shoot after they got back from their honeymoon cruise. I was all for it!! Not to mention, super jealous. I want to get back into my wedding dress!! I think this shoot was my favorite out of the three I did with them. I'm a very detail kind of person, especially when it comes to wedding details. I loved shooting them getting ready, details of the dress, etc. And the weather outside was peeerfect. It was funny, however, it started raining when they were getting ready. You should have seen their faces. They were like "AGAIN???". Luckily, it was a short FL shower that lasted maybe 3 mins.
I had so much fun with this couple. Love them to pieces. Every time I get excited about a picture, I do a little dance, and they are dancing right along with me. Right after that, Brett runs up to me, dyyying to see what we were just celebrating. I adore them. LOVE them! I'm so sad they are now back in West Virginia, but i know I gained friends for life. I hope to see them soon!! Congratulations again, Brett & Bobbi Jo!! I'm so happy you two are now one, after so many years. My heart is truly happy for you both.

Kristin and Paul are NOW engaged!!

I met Kristin when I went to New Orleans last December. She works with my sister at one of the greatest restaurants in the world, DRAGO'S!! She's beautiful, and full of personality! I love the sense of humor on this girl. We talked about doing pictures of her and her boyfriend when I came down next, and I couldn't wait. I was really so excited about this shoot.
So we went down to City Park, found some nice areas and just had fun! Kristin and Paul were so sweet, fun and so in love. And I LOVE that they switched into their Hornets and Saints jerseys. Gotta love those New Orleans teams!!
So maybe a week after I got home, PAUL PROPOSED!!! So NOW they are officially engaged. Congratulations guys!! Kristin, you will be such a stunning bride!
