You may recognize this family from Kayla and Calvin's wedding. http://jessicacharlesphotography.blogspot.com/2011/07/kayla-calvins-wedding-day.html Jackson is Kayla's nephew and ring bearer. He was so absolutely precious, I couldn't stop taking pictures of him in the most precious ring bearer outfit ever. He was actually enjoying me, and hamming it up in front of the camera. Erin, Jackson's mother thought it would be a good idea to get his pictures taken, since he enjoyed it so much. So, we met at Fort DeSoto. We were SO LUCKY that the weather turned out as beautiful as it did. If you live in FL, you know why. Rain, every day.. And when it hasn't been raining, it's been looking like it's going to rain pretty much nonstop.
We got out of the car, ready to start taking pictures, and immediately we were swarmed with mosquitoes. It was unlike anything that I've seen before. We decided to walk, and maybe they would leave us alone. No. Didn't happen. We ended up walking, I don't know, 50ish yards, completely covered in mosquitoes. It was like insect repellant was candy for them. We got to another section of the park, and luckily it wasn't nearly as bad. The next day, I looked at my legs and they are covered with huge red bumps. It's a good thing I had such a great time on this shoot. Totally made every bug bite worth it.
Let me just say that it's way too impossible for Jackson to take a bad picture. What a loveable, sweet face he has! I want to hug it and scream in a high pitch voice. Yup, that's how you know I think your kid is adorable.
